Stoneclough, Ringley & Prestolee · Parish of Stoneclough
Two beautiful village churches, one warm community. Come as you are.
Who We Are
We're a friendly, down-to-earth Church of England community spread across two beautiful old churches — St Saviour's in Ringley and Holy Trinity in Prestolee. St Saviour's has been part of the fabric of this area since 1625; Holy Trinity has served the village of Prestolee since 1862.
Whether you've never set foot in a church before, or you're looking to reconnect after a long time away, you'll find a genuine welcome here. No need to dress up, know the words, or have everything figured out.
Our Rector, Fr Stephen, and the whole parish community would love to meet you.
Safeguarding
Our parish of Stoneclough is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
Our Diocese of Manchester's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact:

Our Churches
Ringley
1 Fold Road, Stoneclough, M26 1GT
Sitting at the heart of Ringley village, St Saviour's is a magnificent stone church with roots going back to 1625. The current building was consecrated in 1854 and is hard to miss — its spire rising above the rooftops as a landmark for the whole area. Inside you'll find a warm, welcoming congregation that gathers every Sunday morning.
Prestolee
1 Church Road, Prestolee, M26 1HJ
Tucked into the village of Prestolee, Holy Trinity has been a place of worship and community since 1862. Smaller and more intimate than St Saviour's, it has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere all of its own. It joined with St Saviour's in the early 1990s and the two communities have been stronger for it ever since.
Services
Everyone is welcome at our services — you don't need to know the words, wear anything special, or have any prior experience of church. Just come along. You'll be greeted with a smile and a cuppa.
